In 1974, Phillip S. Paige left his job at a Fortune 500 company to join Paige Transportation, a business started by his father, the late Walter Paige. Along with family members, he helped modernize Paige Transportation. Phillip saw an opportunity to form his own company, Paige Bus Enterprises, in 1987. Paige Bus Enterprises grew to become a successful and respected  transportation provider, operating over 150 buses and employing over 200 people.

In 2007, Mr. Paige sold his shares in Paige Bus Enterprises and established Paige Business Ventures (PBV), a nationally recognized transportation and consulting company. PBV also provides management services for Chicago's Midway Airport Shuttle.

Mr. Paige is a passionate businessman and leader committed to family, faith, and community. He has been instrumental in establishing three scholarship funds because he understands that the continued success of PBV is providing safe, reliable service to all of his clients, as well as investing in the communities where they operate.

The Paige family has been actively involved in pupil transportation for over 50 years, with 4 generations of family working to provide safe, reliable transportation for the Chicagoland area.
